Jack Richmond and family were arrivals Tuesday night from Clarkdale to spend the Fourth.
Al Hall left Tuesday night for Los Angeles, to spend his vacation.
Assistant Gen. Supt. W. L. DuMoulin returned from his vacation Tuesday night.
Dr. J. Gibbons, formerly dentist here, was in the city Monday on business. He is now practising at Phoenix, in the Luhrs building.
Walter Link, of the American Airship association, was in the city Monday. He has been in the East on promotion work for his company for about a year.
Miss Lee Balboa is in Ajo from Los Angeles, to spend the Fourth with relatives. She says the Angel City is rather quiet.
John Theobald went to El Paso Monday night. He will then go to Ohio for about three months.
Mr. Fitzgerald of the machine shop force left for Casa Grande during the early part of the week. He is interested in acreage there.
Mr. Rollins of the office force left for Los Angeles, where he expects to make his home.
Wm. Clark has been added to the steam shovel force. He comes from Ogden, Utah.
Mr. McCallum and son have come to Ajo and have both found work in the pit on one of the steam shovels.
Albert A. Sprague, Jr., is spending the summer in employment at Douglas. He has just returned from a motor trip to his home in Chicago. Next fall he will return to the State university, Tucson.
Mrs. B. Henderson and children left the first of the week.
W. F. Nash, New Cornelia chief clerk and family, and Supt. R. V. Young of the Ajo schools, and family comprised a party that left Ajo the first of the week on their vacation by automobile. They will visit the Grand Canyon and other Northern Arizona points.
J. S. Bowman, representing the Westinghouse Electric company with offices in El Paso, arrived in camp the early part of the week looking over the equipment which they installed.
Julian W. Riehl, Tucson Scout executive and Mr. Wing, stopped over in Ajo last Tuesday to visit the plant. They are motoring to California for a vacation trip.
I. H. August and family left Tues. arranging for his home in Texas.
Mr. August was chief chemist for the copper company. He is ill and left in order to regain his health.
L. A. Higginbotham of the store force has returned from his vacation which was spent on the coast.
Jimmy Reiss, who was a flotation operator in the new mill, left for Prescott, Arizona. He is making the trip in his automobile.
Winifred Davis, daughter of Mrs. Fannie Davis and popular here, is in the city representing the Mills real estate organization, selling two-acre farms in the vicinity of Riverside, Calif.
George R. Duncan, the Ajo mining man, has returned from a trip to a point north of Phoenix, on mining business.
Mrs. E. S. Ball and three children returned from Los Angeles Thursday morning.
She left two of the children there with relatives for the summer months.
John Mullins is back from Los Angeles where he has been for some time.
