GRAYSON, Ky., Nov. 22—Clyde Rickey, 62, held here for the alleged slaying of his son, Roy, 10, at Soldier, last August, is to be tried in circuit court here on Nov. 28.
The little boy's decomposed body was found hanging from a small white oak tree near the Rickey home at Soldier, this county, three days after he is reported to have disappeared from his home.
The boy's stepmother, Mrs. Eliza Rickey, and Jim Andy Lay are now serving life sentences in the penitentiary at Frankfort, having been found guilty of murder in connection with the death.
The state contended the boy had been killed around his home, body hidden for two or three days and then placed in the tree.
