Full Text
A son of a Mr. Robinson, (says the Seneca Patriot) near this village arrived at his father's on Friday after an absence of thirteen years; seven of which, we understand, he was in the service of the British; having escaped twice and as often been impressed by them. He was not allowed to go ashore but three or four times during the whole period of his impressment. He had written several letters to his parents, but they were all suppressed. His friends supposed him to be no more. At the late attack upon Hampton, he luckily seized the auspicious moment, and with nine of his companions, took French leave of their protectors while they were engaged in plundering the inhabitants, and has returned to cheer the hearts of his aged parents, who had given over all hopes of ever again beholding their son.
