Piano Auditions Start Monday

DR. NORMAN

El Centro section of the national auditions will begin Monday, June 5, at the studio of Oria Kenah, 680 Clive, with Dr. Theodore Norman well known pianist-teacher of Seattle, Washington as judge.

The auditions were scheduled originally for Wilson school but due to the fact that commencement activities preclude the use of the auditorium, the various music teachers whose pupils are participating voted to have the auditions at the Kenah studio.

Students will play for Dr. Norman for honors according to achievement, those who perform satisfactorily will receive honors according to their achievements.

These auditions are part of a nationwide movement sponsored annually by the national guild of piano teachers.
