AVA Plans To Organize Western Alaska Branch
The Alaska Visitors Association at its semi-annual meeting recently elected Bob Crawford as its new president and plans were made for a western Alaska branch of the organization.
The organization of a hotel association was also urged for the convenience of travelers over the territory.
A fund drive is planned and Charles Reader has been named chairman for the drive in Nome; Edith Bullock for Kotzebue, Lee Sevulu at Barrow, James Ryan Fairbanks and George Beacom at Sitka.
