The several Chambers of the Parliament assembled again the first Instant, but none of the Advocates appeared: Before they broke up, fresh Orders from the King were delivered to the President and Counsellors, requiring them to administer Justice, &c. in the Name of his Majesty's high Indignation, and to see that the Advocates and the Attornies did their Duty in the same Respect, &c. Upon which it was resolved to nominate twelve Commissioners to examine the King's Judiciary Letters, and make Report thereof to the Parliament; which they did Yesterday Morning, but their Opinions not agreeing, new Debates arose: However, we are assured that they came to a Conclusion in the Evening, and that the Advocates and Attornies will return to Parliament, and continue their Functions, lest the whole Body should be banish'd the Metropolis, and the Court take the Administration of Justice into its own Hands, or fill the Benches with Horse, Foot, and Dragoons.
