Gets Urban League Job

Tuskegee Institute, Ala. — J. Julius Flood, Personnel Director at Tuskegee Institute, has been informed of his appointment to membership on the Vocational Guidance Advisory Committee of the National Urban League, 1133 Broadway, New York City.

Other members of this newly-appointed Vocational Guidance Advisory Committee with whom Mr. Flood will be associated are: Mrs. Bennett Cerf, Member, Executive Board, National Urban League; Dr. Ambrose Caliver, Specialist for Higher Education of Negroes and Adviser on Related Problems, U.S. Office of Education, Federal Security Agency, Washington, D.C.; Lloyd M. Cofer, Counsellor, Miller High School, Detroit, Michigan; Miss Mary P. Corre, Supervisor, Division of Counselling Service, Cincinnati Public Schools, Cincinnati, Ohio; Dr. John W. Davis, President, West Virginia State College, Institute, West Virginia; Dean J. M. Mr. Flood received his Bachelor of Science degree from Tuskegee Institute. He was awarded his Master of Science degree in Personnel Guidance from the University, Ann Arbor, and has done work on his doctorate in the field of Personnel Guidance at Michigan.

Mr. Flood has had wide experience in the program of guidance and counselling among college men and his selection to serve as a member of the Vocational Guidance Advisory Committee of the Urban League is recognition of his fitness and his ability to fill this important post.
