New-York Nov.6.

Glorious Triumph.—The "People's Ticket" is victorious. Victorious, too, by republican votes. Never has there been a more vehement struggle, nor a more honourable result. The aggregate of the returns is, that out of 52 members of the assembly, whose election is ascertained, not more than ten, under any circumstances, can be counted on to support Mr. Crawford. or the wretched farce of a caucus nomination at Washington. In the same proportion, we confidently predict will be found the returns from the northern and western counties—and, as we have always said, the ballot boxes. the best tests of public opinion, will prove that the party in this state who support the Secretary of the Treasury is but a faction, composed chiefly of office holders and old political intriguers, and without favour and support among the Republicans of this state.
