THREE FORKS MEN RE-OPEN CLIPPER MINE NEAR PONY

Property With Enviable Production Record Taken Over By J. A. Flint and Others.

Following a shut-down of many years, the old Clipper mine near Pony, in southern Montana, has been placed in operation again by J. A. Flint and associates of Three Forks.

J. A. Flint, owner of the Boston Tweed mine, expects to commence shipping ore from the property in the very near future.

Commenting on the district in which the mine is located, the Gallatin County Journal says:

"The opening of old mines in the Famous Tobacco Root range, together with new discoveries, brings to mind the fact that the old timers took approximately half billion dollars of the precious metal from this single mountain range, said to be the most highly mineralized section on the North American continent."
