Full Text

A Correspondent says, Nothing could exceed the Civility shewn to the Duke of Cumberland on his late Visit to the North. The Corporation of Berwick were so extremely civil as to eat their Words, and give their late Petition to the Throne the Lie direct. In that corporate Act they complain of the grossest Violation of the Constitution, and are refused Redress. In this corporate Act, of an Address to the King's Brother, they declare their Happiness in living under the Government of a Prince who maintains their Rights and Privileges secure. Monstrum horrendum! cui lumen ademptum!
