WEYERHAEUSER

GET PROFITS

Idaho
Nov.
26.—J.
P.
Weyerhaeuser, lumberman, filed suit in United States court here Thursday of last week against T. P. Jones and Marjorie Jones, operating the Jones Oil Company of Montana, for $20,000 as Weyerhaeuser's share of a Montana oil venture started in 1928.

The complaint alleged the lumberman and Mr. and Mrs. Jones had entered a joint agreement to operate an oil and gas lease for which Weyerhaeuser put up $12,000 in cash on August 22, 1928.

The money was to be repaid, it was alleged, on or before August 22, 1930. To secure the loan, Weyerhaeuser said he was to receive an assignment for half of the lease. On November 17, 1928, he said Jones sold the lease to an eastern company for $57,000.

Only $5000 of the loan was paid back. Weyerhaeuser said his interest in the property was worth $20,000 including royalties, and asked judgment for that amount.
