FOLLOW-UP ON GETTLE KIDNAPPING BRINGS MORE THREATS

LOS ANGELES, June 26. W. F. Gettle who was just recently a victim of a terrible kidnapping plot, has received more extortion notes, demanding six thousand dollars, "to atone" for his testimony in court against the two women in the case.

The threat read that his home would be dynamited and his family injured seriously if he failed to come through with the money.

Accompanied by the note, Gettle, who was under the eye protection of the police, carried out the instructions, which were, that he was to leave the money in a certain place. He placed the money where directed but no one appeared to claim it. Meantime, Gettle has hired additional guards for his home and to protect his family.
