Darktown minstrel will be presented by the Unionville Center Community Orchestra on July 7 in the Darby School auditorium under the direction of Mrs. Opal Daley, music instructor in Chuckery-Darby Schools.
The program will include three acts and is written by Paul J. Daley, husband of the director. The first act will include the black face line, complete with interlocutor and end men. The second act will be a dramatization of an incident in the life of Stephen Foster, and the third will consist of a hillbilly band and specialty acts.
At the top is a picture of the entire cast while at the bottom left is the interlocutor with the featured singer for a skit "Walking in the Park One Day". At the bottom right are all the women in the cast of the minstrel.
