Seawell said time for filing appeals expired May 12, and none of the parties to the action entered objections to the "compromise" settlement reached several months ago.
"The state should receive its money as soon as an audit of the estate now under way is completed and approved by Judge Eli Frank of the circuit court of Baltimore," Seawell said.
The state agreed to accept $2,000,000 as its tax from the estate after a long litigation.
