To the Public
In editorial in the Evening News implies that Skagway Typographical Union, No. 80 has no just ground for not supporting Mr. Guthrie in the election of today.
Now to facts: Mr. Guthrie was a member of the old council which so unceremoniously tabled our petition asking that the city printing be awarded to union offices and further, that he was one of a committee of two who awarded the printing to an unfair office. This we believe, is a just cause for our action against him, and we ask that all union men and union sympathizers, act as union men and thus assist us in defeating Mr. Guthrie at the polls.
