Women of four villages have been making dish towels, hand towels, and kitchen curtains from surplus toweling material.

Those sewing in April were Susie Lopez, Angelita Mandre, Elena Martin, Molly Pancho, Susie Pancho, Helen Romero, Regina Romero, and Salmino Romero, Ak Chin; Cecelia Lopez, Pat Miguel, Marie Moreno, Antonia Ortiz, Agnes Pablo, Frances Pedro, Theresa Pablo, Sells; Agnes Enis and Evalee Sam of Ventana who sewed at Vaya Chin. Santa Rosa women who decorated their home furnishings were Laura Joaquin, Justine Lopez, Theresa Lopez, Molly Moreno, and Lelica Wood.

The work was done under the direction of Lilla Martin, Home Economist.
