Final efforts to induce former service men to reinstate their government insurance before it is too late are being made by the local office of the Veteran's Bureau, and additional stenographers will be sent to East St. Louis by the Chicago office within a few days to assist in the detail work attendant to such reinstatement.
Letters will be sent out to all business and professional men who have not reinstated or converted their war risk insurance, and they will be urged to do so as well as to exert all possible influence in an effort to induce others to do so.
No better or cheaper insurance can be obtained, it is pointed out by officials of the Veteran's Bureau, and discharged service men who have not taken advantage of the government's offer to again put into effect the insurance they carried during the war are overlooking the best opportunity in the matter of insurance that ever came their way.
It is the hope of the local office to reinstate or convert a major portion of the outstanding insurance in the East St. Louis district.
