Caught Under Rock Fall In Mine.
Mr. Thomas Boggs, who resides with his family on Water street in the Rasche property, was painfully injured on last Tuesday morning when a rock weighing in the neighborhood of 1000 pounds fell from the roof of the Turner-Douglas mine near Crellin catching him beneath it, breaking his right leg below the knee and hurting his back to a slight degree. Mr. Boggs was brought to Oakland after the rock had been removed from his body, where he received medical attention and is now recovering.
