CHANGE DATE OF CARNIVAL.

Garden City Cattlemen's Affair Will Be Held During September.

Garden City, Kan., Aug. 7.—Because of the fact that the dates for the Kansas City carnival were set so that they conflict with those of the Garden City Cattlemen's carnival, the date for the Garden City celebration has been changed from August 30-31 and September 1 to September 7-8-9.

By this change the best riders and ropers in the west will be able to compete at Garden City where $2,500 has been offered in cash prizes.
