Books
Every individual, at some time or other, develops a hobby which usually remains with him during his life. Some favor hunting, others collecting stamps, or any of the other innumerable pursuits. One of the most popular of these is the collection of books. What better way could a person find to invest his money or to pass his time than in gathering books from endless sources and storing them in a personal collection, a library which he can exhibit with pride as being the result of his unceasing efforts? It is the desire of every such person to have within his collection one, or even several, first editions of books, written by the more famous authors. Such a book is not only a jewel in a collection, but also is of great financial value, depending on the author. Wealth is generally measured in terms of money, but the man who possesses a complete library and knows all that is contained therein is far richer than the man who is financially wealthy.
