Where's The Daily Gazette?

For the past few weeks, not a single number of that valuable paper, has been laid at our door. This is our apology for not having any more "spirits." It would not do to sum up the whole week's work of the Journals, and crowd them into one "spirit" at the end; it would be too much to bear--- besides, "spirits of the Weekly Journals," would not sound well. The Delta's "spirit of the mornings," is what we would fain imitate.

Come gentlemen of the Capitolian corps editorial, arise--awake from the dead, and come up to "the office." Let's open a breach somewhere, and have a quarrel-if for nothing more than to keep up the 'spirit of the times.' It is just as interesting to the public at large, for us to quarrel about nothing as it is to take something to task, and drown it in an ocean of words.
