TRIAL ATTRACTS
A LARGE CROWD

The trial on last Thursday of Tom Hendricks and Lockwood Brock, held at the courthouse before Esqs. Lewis, Butts, Tucker and McClain, attracted a very large crowd, the courtroom being filled to suffocation.

Many witnesses were examined.

Hendricks and Brock are charged with the robbery of Levy's store on the night of the first Monday in August. Both pleaded not guilty to the charge, but the trial magistrates found sufficient evidence to bind the two defendants over to circuit court, both making bail.
