Full Text

2. At Salem's court we must appears
with our assembl'd powers ;
3. In patriotic zeal and firm,
with Adams, Young and Bowers.
4. 'Tis thither by the King's command,
the Deputies repair,
With freedom to dispatch those things
which ought to be their care.
5. A Court House stands erected there,
where they may all have place,
There stand the houses and the tents,
our Fathers first did grace.
6. O ! strive you then for Salem's peace
for they shall prosperous be,
Who in her harbour fear to drown
a chest of INDIA TEA.
7. May peace within her spacious bounds;
a constant guest be found ;
With plenty and prosperity.
Her Tories all be crown'd.
