Full Text

New Paper.

John H. Hewitt & Co., on Saturday morning launched the 'Baltimore Clipper,' a new penny paper. Its typographical execution does an infinite deal of credit to the printers, and all who know the editor are perfectly aware that he is in every respect competent to present a racy and spirited sheet. The manifest of the Clipper, so far, exhibits a good cargo, though from the haste employed in getting it on board, some of the freight is a little out of order. The second number will be issued to-morrow, and regularly thereafter.—Chronicle.
