Exploration Party Returned to Valdez By Bob Reeves
VALDEZ. June 26. - Four men of the Harvard Expedition which during the past month has been exploring the unmapped heart of the great Chugach Mountain Range, were returned safely by pilot Bob Reeves, in two trips from the six thousand foot base camp.
Bradford Washburn, leader of the party reported the greatest achievement of the trip had been the successful ascent on June 19th of Mount Saint Agness, the highest peak in the range, a feat never before accomplished.
