Willie Johnson Granted Stay Until June, 1929

In juvenile court Wednesday morning, Judge Orr, in view of the extenuating circumstances surrounding the case, granted to Willie Johnson, 14, held on a charge of the murder of his 13-year-old brother Oliver, a stay of commitment to a state institution until June, 1929.

Pending the time of placement in an institution, the boy is to be placed in a private home which will be found for him by probation officers and colored friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Milner, aunt and uncle of the boy, did not appear in court.
