July 4.—Much rain has fallen here recently.
Miss Hazel Hunt, who has been attending school in Owensboro, has returned home.
Mr. Curt Moseley, who has been very dangerously ill, is improving.
Mr. Yancy Moseley and wife, of Hartford, visited his father here this week.
Mr. D. C. Hewlett is sick.
Mrs. Ethel Bartlett's children have whooping cough.
Mr. John Riley, of Hartford, was here Monday.
Mrs. Y. L. French and children have returned home from a visit to relatives at Terre Haute, Ind.
Miss Georgia Skillman entertained quite a number of her friends Saturday evening.
A large number of persons from this place attended the childrens day at New Bethel Sunday.
Mrs. Lyman Cox, of Philpot, who is visiting her parents near here, is sick.
Dr. Shultz and wife and Mrs. Perry Sanderfur spent Sunday near Andersonville.
Miss Ella Moseley, of Hartford, is visiting her parents here.
