LONDON, June 19.—The speech of Prime Minister Winston Churchill delivered at the Mexican Embassy four days ago, was permitted to be published only today.
Churchill said some month of this summer may "bring full success in the cause of freedom."
Churchill said the invasion on Normandy was a great tactical surprise and the Germans did not know it was coming until they saw the ships.
It may be that events will occur during the next few months to show us whether we will soon be released from the curse laid upon us by the Germans," said Churchill.
The invasion, further said Churchill, was launched with full accord of the Russians and the decision reached at the Teheran conference touching political aspect of the war. He also said efforts are being made to "achieve a permanent cooperation to build up an organization which, after this war, will strengthen the bonds between our nations and success in preserving peace."
