San Francisco, July 10. - A disastrous fire broke out at 4 o'clock this morning in the oil and kerosene store of Allyne & White, Nos. 121 and 125 California street. Owing to the combustible nature of the goods the fire spread with great rapidity, and gained considerable headway before the Fire Department got to work. The fire burned until about 3 o'clock this afternoon, and the following are the losses: Allyne & White, $50,000 - insured for $20,000; Schultz & Von Bargen, wine and liquor dealers, insured for $38,500, which will probably not cover their loss; R. G. Gelien, tobacco and cigar manufacturer, from $7,000 to $10,000 - no insurance; Hooker & Co., hardware, damaged by fire and water, $10,000 - fully insured.
