Wayne State University's Board of Governors approved six contracts totaling $199,191.
Four of the agreements are amendments to previous contracts.
The largest contract of $90,000 with Midwest Program on Airborne Television Instruction, is for a series of educational television courses during the 1962-63 academic year.
A $43,586 contract with the Agency for International Development is for a training program for local government administrators from the Republic of Indonesia. It will be under the direction of WSU political scientist, Dr. Norman Wengert, of 19401 Stratford Rd., during the 1962-63 academic year.
An amendment of $20,000 to the contract with the Michigan Board Committee and the City of Detroit provide for another year of studies and training programs. Directing the study is Dr. James H. Graves, WSU College Professor of 1304 Buckingham, Grosse Pointe.
An $8,720 amendment to the contract with the Michigan State Board Committee provides another year of study. It is under the direction of Dr. James M. Orten, WSU College Professor, of 412 Maison Rd., Grosse Pointe Farms.
A $9,513 amendment to a contract with the U.S. Public Health Service, Bureau of State Services, provides another year of research in fluorescent antibody techniques under Dr. Benjamin Schwimmer, WSU College, of 19366 Washburn.
An amendment to a contract with the Navy Department transfers title of government equipment loaned to WSU under the original contract. Original cost of the equipment was $27,372.
