LONDON, Feb. 24. Letters from Amsterdam say,

That no Satisfaction has yet been made by the Spaniards, to the States General, for the several Dutch Ships taken by the Guard de la Costa in America; and that their High Mightinesses have at present so little Expectation of any Restitution being made on that Account, that they are rather apprehensive of an Invasion of some of their Colonies in the West-Indies; which they have just Grounds to fear, from the Advices which have lately been received from several Ports of Spain, that Orders have been Sent from the Spanish Court to Equip, with all Expedition, a Fleet of 15 or 20 Men of War, from 50 to 70 Guns, which, it's reported, are designed for America, and that Troops are marching towards the Sea Coast with the utmost Secrecy.

It is reported, that Mr. Terry, the King of Spain's Agent to the South-Sea Company, has received Advice from his Court, that Four or Five Dutch Men of War, commanded by Admiral D'Esther, had actually sunk and destroyed Four Spanish Guard de la Costa off the Island of Curacao.
