BUILT BONFIRE IN GARAGE : VALUABLE CAR DESTROYED

St. Petersburg, Aug. 9.—Playing with a box of matches Charlie Prosser, the five year old son of Mr. and Mrs. James Sheppard, set fire to a garage, owned by Mrs. R. E. Vogel, an aunt of Mrs. Sheppard, causing a loss approximating $5,000. In addition to the garage a valuable seven passenger touring car, and a lot of material for alterations designed for the house occupied by Mrs. Vogel, were destroyed. The little fellow started a bonfire in a pile of shavings. and although he tried to extinguish it. it became unmanageable before he gave the alarm.
