NEENAH, Wis., Feb. 23.-This city is having its face lifted and aiding its depression victims at the same time.

Several score unemployed have been given work transplanting elm, oak and maple trees from a woods 10 miles from town to city parks and parkways, under supervision of landscape artists and forester.

The trees originally were selected for transplanting at the Century of Progress Exposition in Chicago but that plan was abandoned.

Previous to this project the city's relief work included a tree-trimming enterprise.
