CELLULOID COLLAR EXPLODED
(Special to The Sentinel.)
Washington Courthouse, O., Nov. 18.--Marion Jones, a business man of New Holland, was seriously burned yesterday.
His celluloid collar was ignited, and in an instant his face and head were enveloped in flames.
Before the flames could be smothered by a friend he was frightfully burned.
Jones was talking to friends and puffing a cigar which had gone out. He was about to relight it, and was engaged in conversation. He did not notice the flame of the match was near his throat instead of the cigar.
There was a sudden flash and a puff of smoke, and his face was hidden by the flames which circled his neck.
