Full Text

The Draft Quotas of Cass County.-We copy from the Detroit Advertiser & Tribune a list of the quotas assigned to the several towns in this county (prior to the call of the President issued last week,) with the credits in full to the 1st of March. The credits include those enlisted prior to, and those furnished upon the last fall's draft, for which, by the orders of the Department allowance is to be made on the assignment of quotas as herewith given. The credit column does not include, however, the veterans who have re-enlisted. Not being re-mustered into service in the State, the muster-in rolls are not filed in the office of the Provost Marshal General of the State. The credits however. will be made at the War Department and will be communicated in good time: From this report it appears that Milton is the only town that has not filled the quota, all the other towns being in excess. The statement is transcribed from the official records in the office of Colonel B. H. Hill, Provost Marshal for the State, and can be relied on as correct:—

Excess of Quota, 110

With which we shall be entitled to receive credit on the last call of 200,000.
