We hear from Marblehead, that a few days since, a child of two years old, daughter of Mr. Nathaniel Hartshorne, of that place, was seated by the carelessness of the servant, on the cross piece of the garret window, which had not been properly secured; and by leaning back, fell from thence into a well, which exceeded in altitude, from the surface of the water, thirty seven feet.
A person that was near, immediately descended and brought her up: and, to the astonishment of all, she had received but the slightest injury.
