Everyone is invited to come, bring a lunch and stay for the afternoon services.

Ice cream is freezing! The members of the Training Union will be on hand Wednesday afternoon at 6:30 P. M. to eat ice cream and cake. This is the type social we like and aren't we glad that a Standard Training Union must have a social each quarter.
Little Miss Janice Beasley had her tonsils removed Friday in Fayetteville and is back home now doing nicely.
Bible school was a success and everyone enjoyed the picnic and commencement program Friday night. We all learned a lot this week and were proud of our record.

Graham Hairr has changed ships now and is on his way to Korea again.
Jerry Warren, who is in the U S Navy, returned to his base recently.
after being home on leave. Earl Core got a few days pass last week and he and Betty Jane were visiting their parents for those few days. It was nice of them to lend a hand during Bible School.
Joyce Jackson and Marjorie Jackson competed in the district Dairy Foods Demonstration in Fayetteville on Wednesday. They are representing our County (Sampson) and Mingo School. The winners of this contest will not be announced until a later date. These girls are really working hard in their 4-H Club work and we wish them the best of luck.
The Y W A met with Mrs. Ernest Hairr on Monday night. The meeting was a prayer meeting and regular program combined with our Heck-Jones Memorial program.
