Court Items.

In the case of the State vs. John C. Mackrell, the argument was concluded on Saturday, and after being charged by the Judge, the Jury retired to their room; and, after about one hour's deliberation, returned into Court with a verdict of not guilty.

Solicitor Show, on account of serious indisposition, left for his home on Saturday. The State will be represented by H. L. Guillard, Esq., except in the case against W. D. Aiken, which will be conducted by Attorney-General Chamberlain.

The State vs. W. D. Aiken, indicted for the homicide of Julius W. Clarke, was called yesterday morning. It is a case of deep interest, and will doubtless attract a large number of spectators into Court.
