ENFORCING THE GAME LAWS.

Springfield, Feb. 17.-Convictions for violations of the Illinois game law have been reported to State Game Commissioner Wheeler in the last week as follows:

For Killing Game Out of Season-F. L. Bailey, Blue Mound, Macon county; fined $15 and costs for killing a prairie chicken. Orville Wetzel, Al Keeney and John Updigrass, New Philadelphia, McDonough county: each fined $15 and costs for killing quail.

For Hunting Without a License-Jeff King, Corinth, Williamson county. John Hobbs, Rock Creek, Hardin county: Arthur McNay, Mendon, Adams county: each fined $25 and costs.

For Selling Game-John Hegstrom. St. Charles, Kane county: fined $75 and costs for selling squirrels.
