Ordained Sunday
An ordination service for Frank B. Dilley Jr., grandson of Mrs. J. S. Steiner of this community, was held last Sunday in the First Presbyterian church of Athens, Ohio.
The new minister is well known here having spent many of his summer vacations with his grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. J. S. Steiner. in Bluffton.
His mother is Mrs. Geneva Steiner Dilley of Athens.
Rev. Mr. Dilley was born and reared in Athens, graduating from the high school there in 1949. He was a Phi Beta Kappa-student at Ohio university and received his A. B. degree there Magna Cum Laude in 1952. He received his M. A. degree in philosophy at Ohio university the following year and the B. D. degree Cum Laude from Union Theological seminary two weeks ago.
Married, Rev. and Mrs. Dilley plan to remain at Union Theological Seminary in New York for the next two years where Rev. Dilley will be working on his Ph. D. degree at Columbia university.
The ordination service last Sunday was attended by Mrs. J. S. Steiner and Charles and Jana Steiner of Bluffton.
