LONDON, March 2.

A wit was asked what he thought of the late change of ministry. It is like the noise of water, said he, poured out of full into empty vessels.

Alderman Wilkes in the House of Commons made his annual motion for rescinding the vote of that House relative to the Middlesex election. The Alderman stated, that he now expected from a virtuous House of Commons that his motion would meet with a different fate from what it had hitherto done.

A short debate ensued, after which the House divided.
