Barbara Burum, Kodiak high school student received honorable mention for her entry in the Alaska Festival of Music student art contest held recently.
Barbara Burum, school 1960 graduate, received honorable mention for her entry in the Alaska Festival of Music student art contest held recently.
Miss Burum's entry, a water color, was one of 23 entries. Sidney Eilerton, Anchorage high school junior, was the winner of the Festival's Art Scholarship. The prize-winning work and 22 additional student entries will be hung in the Festival Art Show, June 4 through 18. The exhibit will be open daily from June 19 through June 28.
