Legion Auxiliary Gives Christmas Party

The annual Christmas Party given by the American Legion Auxiliary in the Methodist church social room Tuesday evening was an enjoyable affair, there being 30 members and guests in attendance.

The event followed the regular meeting of the Auxiliary. At this meeting the matter of filling kit bags for the Red Cross, an activity in charge of the Red Cross, for the benefit of overseas servicemen, was discussed.

Several members offered to donate to this.

Other work included the initiation of 10 new members. The group voted to send $3 to war veterans at Ft. Harrison.

The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Howard Covey, with Mrs. Louise Davis assisting, the date being January 11.
