School Directors.

At the school election on the 14th inst, Dr. Daniel Brainard and Rev. Henry Lang were elected school Directors for the term of three years.

There was at the same time, a majority of votes cast in favor of raising by tax one thousand dollars for finishing the new school house, and paying balance due on school house site. This is as it should be. The ground should be fenced, and ornamented with shade trees early in the spring. This would add much to the value and comfort of the property, and make it an ornament to the town.
