The Parliament assembled last Tuesday, in order to proceed to the Verification and Registering of the King's Declaration of the 7th Instant: by which his Majesty declares, that having found that the present Condition of his Finances, after the Expences occasioned by the late War, will not yet permit him to ease his Subjects as he could wish to do, he orders that several Duties mentioned in the said Declaration, shall continue to be paid.

Until the last of December, 1744, etc. This was registered, praying the King at the same time to take off some of the Taxes as soon as it may be conveniently done.
