CANADIAN PACIFIC RAILWAY LOAN.

LONDON, June 19.—In the House of Commons to-day Sir Michael Hicks-Beach, Colonial Secretary, replying to a question by Mr. John Bright concerning the deputation said to be coming from Canada to ask the government for a loan or a guarantee for the purpose of constructing the Pacific Railway, said that all he knew about it was the resolution of the Canadian Parliament respecting the Pacific Railway. The deputation, he said, was certainly not coming in consequence of any communication on the subject between the two governments.
