Rob Oregon Bank
Of $11,500
CARLTON, Ore. (AP) - Three young, poised bandits, who robbed the Carlton State and Savings bank of $11,500 Friday in Oregon's third daylight bank holdup within six months, are being sought by the police.
The trio, swathed in red bandanas, carried out the four-minute-long robbery with such dispatch that the bank's only two customers, chatting at a side counter, noticed nothing wrong.
While one man held a gun on two bank examiners and two tellers and another guarded the door, the third forced Teller Minnie Bloom to hand over currency from the cash drawer and vault.
Then, shoving aside a customer just entering the bank, the three piled into a slate-colored car and vanished down the highway before police could establish road blocks.
