MARIETTA, Ga.- (SNS) - The annual baccalaureate service of the Lemon Street High School will be held at 4 p. m., today, in the school auditorium, with Rev. L. M. Terrill, pastor of Zion Hill Baptist Church, Atlanta, preaching the academic sermon.
Also participating in the service will be Rev. R. R. Freeman, Rev. Kelley and Rev. L. R. Edwards.
The musical features will include two numbers by the Lemon Street High School Chorus, directed by Miss. E. M. Hill, and a vocal solo, "My Prayer" by Jerome Woods. The chorus will sing: "Gloria in Excelsior," and "Joshua Fit De Battle of Jericho," with Mrs. M. J. Fredd at the piano.
The headline feature of the class night program, scheduled for 8 p. m. Tuesday, will be the Class Play, "Celie's Lil' Wild Rose."
Highlighting the graduation exercise, which will be held Friday at 8:30 p. m., will be a symposium, "To What Shall We Look Forward-War or Peace?" and the valedictory address by Alfred Williams.
Prof M. J. Woods principal, will award the diplomas, certificates, scholarships and prizes.
