From Montevideo. It is reported, from this place that the President, Rivera, and his Government, have become very unpopular, and that a civil war is seriously apprehended. The complaint against the administration is, that they have farmed out to individuals for a period of years, the privilege of having a barracca for the reception of hides from the country, and prohibiting their exportation without the payment of a medio each. Later advices, via Buenos Ayres, to the 30th, confirm the probability of a civil war in Monte Video.--Ib.
