U. S. CIRCUIT COURT.

New York, May 8.--This forenoon Thomas Jones, otherwise called John Robinson, a colored man, who had been convicted of murder on board of the brig Holkar; and of Josef Perez, a Spaniard, who was guilty of Piracy on board of the sch'r Bee, were put to the bar to receive their sentences.--Judge Thompson addressed the prisoners in a feeling and solemn manner, reminding them of the enormity of the crimes they had been convicted of, and advising them to lose no time in making their peace with their Maker. The Judge then sentenced Thomas Jones to be hanged on the 11th day of June next, between the hours of twelve and two o'clock, and his body given to the Doctors for dissection. Josef Perez, to be hanged on the same day, and same hour, with the exception that his body was not ordered to be given up for dissection. Jones listened with attention, but appeared not to be affected. Perez, when his sentence was read to him in Spanish, was considerably agitated, but neither of them wept or shed a tear, that we could perceive.
